Russell Rice age 70 of Jonesboro, Arkansas (Formerly of Dyersburg) died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at his residence. Russell was a U.S. Army Veteran.  Visitation will be held Saturday, 29, 2016 6-8pm at McCreight Funeral Home 1607 Hornbrook St. Dyersburg, TN. Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 30, 2016 2pm at Salter's Chapel A.M.E. Church with Minister Thomas Rice. Burial will be held in M.C.C.O. Cemetery in Newbern, TN. Pallbearers will be  Johnny B. Rice Jr., Sharod James, Demarco Rice, Calvin Rice, James Smith and Marcus Mathis. Survivors include Daughters, Stephanie Schoclet, Joanna Rice El Paso, TX ., Nickell Rice, Jonesboro, Ark., Gracie Smith, Fulton, Ky. Son, Russell Rice Jr. Union City, TN., Sister, Barbara Ferguson, Dyersburg. 17 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren. Russell was preceded in death by Sisters, Lottie, Dottie Rice, Minnie Tuggle, Wilma Rice Wyatt, Brothers, Willie C.
