Ms. Maxine Jackson age 76 of Dyersburg died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Tennova Health Care- Dyersburg. Arrangments are entrusted to McCreight Funeral Home. Ms. Maxine was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist church. She was former employee of Wal-mart for 15 years. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 @ 5:00 p.m. Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church 208 St. George Ave. Dyersburg with Pastor John. W. Lewis, officiating. Ms. Maxine was born in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Lincoln High School and later attended Ohio State University. Ms. Maxine was member of the Happy Hearts Club. Ms. Maxine was known through out Dyersburg for her fine cooking, baking for friends, Church family and family. Survivors include her children;Daughters, Karen Louise Smith, Melodie Slaby,Lena Santoro,Angela Jeter, Blacklick,Ohio;Sons; David Murray, Dyersburg, Jeremy Smith, Miami, Florida, Darren Smith, West Deptford,New Jersey. 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great-grandchildren. Ms. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Walter Jackson. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN... Cremation is under the direction of  McCreight Funeral Home.
