Maria Stark was a Dyer County School Board member. She was a long time member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Dyersburg. She was the former Church Clerk, She served as Sunday School Superintendent, Christmas Program facilitator, Black History program Facilitator, Also served as former Captain of Dyer County Relay For Life Pilgrim Rest Team. She was a member of St. Mary OES Chapter 125 PHA. She serve as District Deputy Grand Worthy Matron for Dist. 7B and Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Tennessee. A walk through visitation will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020 11:00a.m.-1:45p.m. at McCreight Funeral Home 1607 Hornbrook St. Dyersburg, TN. Graveside service will follow at 2:00p.m with Rev. John W. Lewis officiating. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN. Survivors include her Daughter, Tiffany(Steven) Murphy, Memphis, TN., Mother, Ida Starks, Dyersburg, TN.
