Jerry (Gene) Vaughn, Sr. age 89 of Newbern, TN. died Monday. April 28, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Decaturville, TN. October 15, 1935, to Gracie Yarbro Vaughn and Henry Vaughn. He later in life moved to Newbern, TN. where he met and married Virginia Coleman. Gene was well known for his mechanic services in Newbern and a school bus driver. He was a faithful member of the Jones St. Church of Christ in Newbern, TN. Visitations will be held 12: Noon-12:55 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Jones St. Church of Christ in Newbern, TN. Funeral service will at 1:00p.m. with Bro. Jessie Webb officiating. Burial will be held in M.C.C.O. Cemetery in Newbern, TN. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
