Mr. James Marvin Lyte age 86 of Dyersburg died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Tennova HealthCare -Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. McCreight Funeral Home is in Charge. James was a former employee of Forcum & James Construction Company, Coffman's Lunch Company in St. Louis, Mo., Bowen Lumber Company, Jeff Fowlkes Construction,  he was a Self employed carpenter. Visitations will be held Wednesday, 21, 2016 11:00a.m.-12:55p.m  at New Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 1:00p.m. New Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Elbert Holloman officiating. Pall bearers are Jeff Light, Jeff Light Jr,. Robert Pace Jr., Charles Rogers and Carey Barbee, Honorary Pallbearers Deacon of New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be held in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. James was a Deacon at New Bethel Baptist Church were severed for many years. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Olivia Josephine Lyte, Dyersburg. (2) Daughters, Peggy Pace, Barbara Simmons of Dyersburg. Son, Frank Arnold. Four Sisters, Florene Lyte Jones and Carrie L. Lyte McCreight of Dyersburg., Norma (AL) Netterville , Lula Lyte Blue of St. Louis, Mo.,. (2) Brothers, Y. Z. Lyte and Lonnie (Gladys) Light of Dyersburg, and his special children that he raised, Jennifer Light, Marion Lyte, Michael and Jessica Light of Dyersburg. James also leaves a host of Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents Pilot Light and Irene Johnson Light, One daughter, Virgina Deloney , One Son, Thomas Edward Mays. Four brothers, P.L. Lyte , A.V. Lyte, Robert L.
