Mr. Freddy L. Bolden age 67 of Lansing, Michigan (Formerly) of Dyersburg, TN. died Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Sparrow Hospital in Lasing, Michigan. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, 3:00p.m. at McCreight Funeral Home 1607 Hornbrook St. Dyersburg, TN. Freedy was born to the union of Eddie and Beulah Bolden in Dyersburg, TN on January 10, 1957. He was a former member of the Jones St. Church of Christ in Newbern, TN. and a graduate of Dyer County High School. Shortly after graduation Freedy moved to Lansing, Michigan and became a member of Holmes Road Church Christ and worshipped there until his health failed. Freddy was a retired cement journeyman. He became a member of the union for thirty plus years. He was very adventurous, loved working on cars, and always laughing whether if it was him making a joke or someone else. Not to mention he always had this quote: "God bless the who got his own and there're going to get off me."
He leaves to cherish his memories: a special and dear companion, Patricia Qualls of Lansing, Michigan, and really good friend, Benny Molden of Columbus, Ga. Three daughters; Ebony (Marty) Evans, Milwaukee, WI, Philicia (Donald) Witherspoon of Hueytown, Al., and Taylor Qualls of Lasing, MI. one son; Maurice Qualls of Lasing, MI., (8) Grandchildren, Four Sisters, Rose McCoy, Chicago, IL., Mary (James) Woods, Linda Waiters, and Sue Bolden all of Dyersburg, TN. Seven brothers, Granger Thompson, Ronnie (Willie) Thompson of Lasing, MI., Leonard (Audrey) Bolden, Donnie (Gloria) Bolden, Thomas Bolden, Terrence Bolden, and Ricky Thompson all of Dyersburg, TN. A host of other loving relatives and friends. Freddy was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Beulah Bolden, Sisters, Linda Ward, Clara Collins, Brother Eddie Bolden Jr.
