Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 11:00a.m.-12:55p.m. at Emmanuel Church of God In Christ in Tiptonville, TN. Funeral service will follow at 1:p.m. with Bishop Curtis McClendon officiating. Burial will be held in Citizens Cemetery in Tiptonville, TN. Survivors include his wife Barbara Chamberlain Dokes of Ridgely, TN. Son; Rev. Rodney (Kelli) Covington, Murray, Ky., Sisters; Betty Dokes Williams, Benton Harbor, MI., Mary Reid, Myrtle Dokes,  Ridgely, TN., Dorothy Matthews, Dallas, Tx. Five Grandchildren.
