Eddie Lee Donald Jr. age 62 of Dyersburg died August 18,2016 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN... Visitation will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 10:00a.m.at McCreight Funeral Home 1607 Hornbrook St. Dyersburg, TN. Funeral service will follow at 11:00a.m... Pallbearers will be family & friends. Cremation services are under the direction of McCreight Funeral Home. Eddie Lee Donald Jr., affectionately known as "Brick" was born on November 15, 1953 in Ripley, TN to Eddie Lee Donald Sr. and Florence Lee Donald (Morton). He was the third eldest of nine children. He departed this life August 18, 2016 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Eddie moved to Saginaw, Michigan when he was nine years old. Eddie accepted Christ and was baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Saginaw, Michigan when he was a child. Eddie worked for the City of Saginaw Water Treatment Plant for numerous years. He moved back to Halls, Tennessee around 1980 where he made his home under the guidance of his late grandfather "Cheetie" Morton. Eddie loved and cherished being home again.Eddie leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Znetta Donald of Dyersburg, TN; five sons, Eddie Lee Donald III of Halls, TN., Eddie Lee Roberson and Marcus Roberson of Saginaw, MI., Corey and Nicholas Madison of Iowa; three grandsons and one granddaughter; three brothers, Paul of Saginaw, MI., Kim of Dyersburg TN., and Donnie of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters, Mary (Frank) Pickett, and Beverly Tatum of Saginaw MI., Mercer Davis of Racine, WI; two step-brothers and four step-sisters; one uncle, and five aunts; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; a beloved friend, Chris McMullin.Eddie was preceded in death by his mother Florence; three sisters, Gwen, Cathy, and Edith Donald; grandparents, Calvin and Mary Morton,Howard and Bertha Donald; a step-mother, Delores; ten uncles and two aunts.
