Mr. Colvin "Grey Ghost" Nunn age 95 of Racine, WI. (Formerly) of Crockett County, TN. died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Asension All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. Mr. Colvin was called home by his Loving Savior. He was born in Crockett County, TN on July 3, 1922 the son of the late Charlie and Sarah Tatum Nunn. He had been employed by A.M.C. for over 30 years. Mr. Nunn had been a member of Searching Together Church, the A.M.C. 20 year club, and the U.A.W. Local 72. He enjoyed spinning records as a DJ, and was known as "The Grey Ghost". He was also a car enthusiast and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his family and relatives and manning the grill for family cookout and fish fry's. Visitation will be held Saturday July 22, 2017 at New First Baptist Church in Muary City, TN. 10:00a.m.-11:55, funeral service will follow at 12:Noon will with Pastor Lynnwood Reed officiating. Burial will be held in Oakview Memorial Garden in Alamo, TN. Survivors include his children, John (Jeweline) Nunn of Racine, WI., Sarah (James) Yancy, of Maury City, TN., Marvin Nunn of Jackson, TN., Albert Johnson, Mae Clark of Racine, WI., Charmaine (Herman) Manor, of Jackson, MS., Calvin (Nancy) Dudley, Tavares, FL., Rodney (Violet) Spears, of Kenosha, WI. Clayton (Depali) Cobb, of Tornoto, Canada, and Colvin Nunn of Racine, WI.; numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren and special friend and caretaker Shirley Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers George Ward and Albert Patterson Nunn and sisters Lucindy Davis, Cordy Johnson, Luvinia Nunn and Alvilda Mayfield and also his son Frank E.
